Botox
Botulinum toxin works by temporarily blocking the signal that reaches a muscle, so the muscle relaxes. The effect is not permanent; it usually holds for a few months and then returns gradually, so it is repeated on a cycle. Dose and injection points differ by how the muscle is used, and they are decided at consultation rather than by a fixed amount.
